9:57 a.m. Steve Earl, VP from District 12, introduces brother Arley Carson to lead a prayer. He thanks the Lord for "all the blessings we have gained through the United Mine Workers." He says, "The rich and the greedy are here to take some things from us and we here to make sure that doesn't have."
