10:16 a.m. State Representative Carla May, a CWA member, tells the crowd, "This fight is not unique to mine workers. It is a threat to workers everywhere. Workers are not going to lay down and allow corporations to trample on them."
She recalled the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, "In our glorious fight for civil rights we must guard against false slogans such as 'right to work.'..It's purpose is to destroy labor union."
